Medical Disclaimer
The information available on this website is provided for general educational and informational purposes only. It must not be treated as a confirmed medical diagnosis, personal medical advice, emergency treatment, a replacement for an in-person consultation or a guarantee that any treatment or procedure is suitable for a particular patient.
A doctor must assess each patient individually before recommending treatment. Treatment suitability, recovery time and results may vary depending on the patient’s condition, medical history and other clinical factors.
Emergency Situations
Patients experiencing severe pain, serious injury, breathing difficulty, loss of consciousness, uncontrolled bleeding or another medical emergency should immediately contact emergency services or visit the nearest emergency department. Do not wait for a response through the website, email or WhatsApp.
Website Appointment Requests
Submitting an appointment form through the website does not automatically confirm an appointment.
- The patient may receive an email acknowledging the appointment request.
- The KMZ Orthoman team will contact the patient by phone.
- The appointment becomes confirmed only after the team verifies the details and confirms an available date and time.
Patients should not attend based only on an automated email unless the appointment has also been confirmed by the KMZ Orthoman team.
Appointment Cancellation and Rescheduling
Patients may contact the KMZ Orthoman team to request an appointment cancellation or rescheduling. There is currently no fixed 12-hour or 24-hour cancellation period.
The team will discuss the request with the patient and arrange another available appointment where possible. Patients should inform the team as early as possible if they cannot attend. Rescheduled dates and times remain subject to doctor and clinic availability.
Fees and Payments
Patients are responsible for confirming applicable consultation, registration, investigation, procedure, treatment and hospital fees before receiving services.
Fees may vary depending on the patient’s condition, type of consultation, required investigations, treatment or procedure, hospital charges, medication, medical supplies and other services. Submitting an appointment request does not guarantee a particular price or treatment cost.
Deposit for Foreign Patients
Foreign patients are required to pay an RM500 deposit upon registration at the applicable registration counter.
The consultation fee may be deducted from this deposit. Patients should confirm any remaining balance, additional charges and applicable refund arrangements directly with the relevant registration counter.
Consultation Fee and Refunds
Once the consultation has taken place, the consultation fee is non-refundable. This applies even when the patient decides not to proceed with further treatment, additional investigations are recommended, the patient chooses another provider or the patient does not proceed with a proposed treatment plan.
Any refund relating to other payments, deposits, hospital services or cancelled procedures will depend on the policy of the relevant clinic, registration counter or hospital.
WhatsApp Communication
KMZ Orthoman may use WhatsApp for appointment requests, confirmations, rescheduling, cancellations, clinic information, general medical guidance, follow-up communication and the sharing of relevant reports or medical information.
WhatsApp communication does not guarantee an immediate response. General guidance provided through WhatsApp does not constitute a confirmed diagnosis or formal medical consultation. The doctor or clinic team may advise the patient to attend an in-person examination before providing a diagnosis or treatment recommendation. WhatsApp must not be used for emergencies.
Online and Video Consultations
KMZ Orthoman does not currently provide formal online or video consultations. General information provided through WhatsApp, telephone, email or social media does not replace an in-person medical assessment.
Patients may be required to attend the clinic or hospital for examination, diagnosis, investigation and treatment planning.
Treatment and Surgery at PUSRAWI Hospital
Some patients may receive consultation, treatment, investigations or surgery at PUSRAWI Hospital. The hospital operates separately and may apply its own registration requirements, charges, deposit requirements, payment terms, cancellation policies, refund policies and admission or discharge procedures.
KMZ Orthoman does not control all hospital charges, administrative procedures or refund decisions. Patients should confirm hospital-related fees and policies directly with PUSRAWI Hospital before admission, treatment or surgery.
Patient Responsibilities
Patients must provide complete, accurate and up-to-date personal details, contact information and relevant medical information. This may include current symptoms, medical history, existing conditions, previous treatments or surgeries, current medications, allergies, medical reports and imaging or investigation results.
Patients should immediately inform the doctor or clinic team when relevant information changes. KMZ Orthoman will not be responsible for problems caused by information that a patient intentionally withholds or provides incorrectly.
Treatment Decisions and Results
The doctor will recommend treatment based on the patient’s symptoms, clinical examination, medical history and available investigation findings.
KMZ Orthoman does not guarantee complete recovery, a specific result, a fixed recovery period, pain-free treatment or that a particular procedure will be suitable for every patient. Patients should discuss expected benefits, possible risks, alternatives and recovery requirements with the doctor before agreeing to a procedure.
